Pinnacle Classical Academy ranks in the top 10% of the state's public school systems in average ACT composite scores, according to the North Carolina ACT Report, which has been released by the Department of Public Instruction.

The ACT, a leading national standardized test for college admissions, was administered in early 2019 to juniors in the state's 115 local education agencies and in 71 charter schools with juniors. Pinnacle Classical Academy's mean composite score of 21.4 ranks 17th among these 186 public school systems and was significantly higher than the state average of 18.4.

In addition, Pinnacle Classical Academy's average ACT reading score of 24.8 ranked sixth in the state, behind Raleigh Charter High School, Woods Charter School (Chapel Hill), Research Triangle High School (Durham), Chapel Hill - Carborro City Schools, and Millennium Charter Academy (Mount Airy).
