About Pinnacle Classical Academy

Pinnacle Classical Academy is a tuition-free, public charter school, which embraces research-based instructional practices, enhanced curriculum design, state of the art technology, and high academic and behavioral standards. The culture of the school will be built on a foundation of ethical character modeled by the school's staff. PCA will actively strive to engage families, community members, businesses, and local colleges and universities in the school community to help enhance the learning opportunities of the students at PCA.

PCA will implement the Core Knowledge Sequence in grades K-8 to create a program of study that will include the depth and breadth necessary to meet the needs of all students. Utilizing the Core Knowledge Sequence will ensure all students at PCA have the strong foundational skills that will serve them successfully for the remainder of their education and throughout their lives.

Integrated within the sequence will be the STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) emphasis. Research suggests that many students lose interest in these disciplines in the early grades. Employing teaching strategies of involving students in problem-solving in these fields is imperative if students are to be prepared to continue in the STEM areas in the future.

PCA will deliberately emphasize positive character traits throughout the curriculum and work to create a school culture that fosters and recognizes exemplary character. Character education will be integrated into all aspects of the educational program in the classroom.

Our Mission

The mission of Pinnacle Classical Academy is to provide all students with a premier college preparatory education built on the foundation of the Core Knowledge Sequence, emphases of science, technology, engineering and math courses, citizenship, values, and classical education in collaboration with committed parents, inspiring educators, and motivated students.

Beyond the Mission

Pinnacle Classical Academy offers more than an exemplary college preparatory education. PCA embodies a philosophy, a passion and a strongly held belief that the purpose of education is to teach a student to live by developing the mind to think, to understand, to integrate, to prove. He must be taught the essentials of the knowledge discovered in the past, and equipped to acquire further knowledge by his own effort.
