Mrs. Richardson Inspires Future Teachers to “Protect Their Flame”

On Thursday, Mrs. Richardson stopped by Mr. Laughlin’s Future Teachers class to talk with his students about her experiences in education. She shared an enlightening and inspiring message on what it means to be a teacher, what a school will look for in a prospective teacher, and she shared how to meet students where they are and giving support as they learn new things.

She ended her talk with reminding students to “protect their flame”, not just in teaching, but in any field. She inspired students to go after their passions, and to tune out negativity as their passions become a future career.
