Pinnacle Students Shine at Gardner-Webb University Honor Band Clinic

Published March 29, 2026
Pinnacle Classical Academy is proud to recognize three of our high school band students who recently participated in the Gardner-Webb University Honor Band Clinic on March 27, 2026.

This prestigious annual event brings together exceptional high school musicians from across the region, selected through director recommendations, for an enriching experience of growth and collaboration. Students had the opportunity to perform alongside collegiate musicians from the Gardner-Webb University Department of Music while receiving high-quality instruction throughout the clinic.
Congratulations to our Pinnacle participants:

• Lane Cline – Percussion
• Stella Navey – Clarinet
• Silas Rummel – Trombone

The clinic featured Guest Conductor Dr. Erin Bodnar and was led by Dr. Sarah Fabian, Director of Bands, providing a meaningful and inspiring experience for all involved.

A special thank you to our Band Director, Ms. Tara Owens, who gives tirelessly to her students. Her dedication, encouragement, and commitment to excellence make opportunities like this possible and continue to inspire our young musicians to grow and succeed.
We are proud of these students for representing PCA with excellence, dedication, and musical talent.
