Meet Mr. Brown

Dear PCA Families and Friends, My name is Robert Brown and I am incredibly excited to be the new Headmaster at Pinnacle Classical Academy! I have lived in Cleveland County, North Carolina, my entire life and continue to reside and raise my family here. It is my goal to work with our teachers, staff, students, and parents to help create the premier college preparatory experience in Cleveland County. The groundwork laid during the first year of operations for Pinnacle Classical Academy has gone a long way toward making this goal a reality. It will take a lot of hard work, but the level of dedication, professionalism, and expertise that I have witnessed in my time at Pinnacle Classical Academy leads me to believe that our future is virtually unlimited.

While I am an administrator now, I am an historian and history teacher by training and have twenty years of classroom and administrative experience. Throughout my career I have taught classes covering almost every area of social studies in the North Carolina curriculum, as well as history and social studies courses for the Degree Completion Program at Gardner-Webb University.

I am excited about the possibilities for continued growth at Pinnacle Classical Academy as we move forward into a new school year. A foundation has been laid that will provide benefits for our students for years to come. The school’s unparalleled support by parents and community members truly means that the sky is the limit for what we can accomplish.

I look forward to greeting students for the first day of school on August 25th, and working with the students, teachers, parents, and staff to continue our journey into the 2014 – 2015 school year and beyond.

Robert W. Brown Jr.
